Business data protection is part of the development of ROVENTAQ. These notes describe practices that are in the product today. They are not a certification, and they are not a promise that nothing can ever go wrong.
Role-based permissions
What a person can do depends on their role. The owner, a manager, and a cashier are not given the same controls.
Business data separation
Database policies keep one business from reading another business's records. The application does not offer a public catalog of customer products.
Protected areas
Owner and operator tools are not part of this public website. Search engines are asked not to index the signed-in application.
Credentials
This website does not include a service credential or a private key. The browser only uses the public client when someone opens the application itself.
Testing
Security testing continues while the public launch is prepared. A completed public certification is not claimed.
